It may be easy for someone who is not a fan or member of Redskins Nation to think they are supporting Native Americans by opposing the name of the Washington Redskins.

Besides the what you might find about the word "Redskins", please consider the following...

A very, very small amount of Native Americans say they are offended by the name...but they are offended by their likeness used in anything, for any reason, by anyone other then them...and that leaves most Native Americans not offended...some are even fans (I dare say more than are actually offended).

You will find most of the Native Americans seeking for the Washington Redskins to change their name have alternative motives (politics, clothing lines, personal enterprise, career exposure, hate and so forth).

Anyone involved with the Washington Redskins, including fans and former/current players/coaches/staff will tell you there is no hate involved in our teams name.  We are ALL proud to wear our team logo and to say our team name.

Here was Joe had to say...

"I was proud to wear the uniform & always will b. It is Mr. Syder's choice if it stays. 80yr tradition #HTTR" Joe Theismann (@Theismann7)

Hail to the Redskins!
