When Two Stars Collide.

Sunday's NFL Wildcard match-up between THE Washington Redskins and the Seattle Seahawks has all of the elements of what is to be, perhaps, the best game of this years playoffs.  Taking center stage for the Redskins will be rookie sensation QB Robert Griffin III, fellow rookie sensation RB Alfred Morris, and a constantly improving defense.  They will face a similar, but more conservative, Seahawks offense, led by fellow rookie Russel Wilson, and a Seahawks defense that has managed to allow less points than any other team in the NFL.  Both teams have unique aspects to their game, both on offense and defense, that almost no other teams can even attempt to mimic.  So what happens when two stars collide?  A new star is born...

So, how do they match-up and who has the advantage going into Sunday's game?

The Seahawks went 11-5 in the easiest division in the NFC while the Redskins went 10-6, after a slow start, in the NFC East, the hardest division in football....Advantage Redskins!

The game will be the first home playoff game for the Redskins in over a decade and the Seahawks record on the road is not so good....Fedex will be rocking and fans will be energized like never before...it will loud and proud in Landover...Advantage Redskins!

Both teams have had a pretty good running game, but as of late the Redskins' Alfred Morris has been on fire, coming off of a 200yd game, and ended the regular season edging out Lynch on total yards and TD's...Advantage Redskins!

Both teams passing offenses are similar in stats...the Redskins have more passing yards, the Seahawks have a few more passing TD's...but with the option and a red-hot running game adding to an already great play-action....Advantage Redskins!

Both Defenses have had good and bad games....and because of the poor start, the Seahawks have been a tad bit more consistent....Redskins have more interceptions, Seahawks have more forced fumbles....but if you look at the past 3 games, the Redskins' Defense is peaking at the perfect time....I say....Advantage Redskins.

I would call special teams a draw.

This Sunday is the MUST WATCH game of this years playoff...you will want to watch and DVR this one....but one thing is for sure, every player on this Redskins Team knows how give 110% and, fellow fans, that translates into wins.

Hail to the Redskins!
