Kissing Cousins

After another big Redskins win Sunday, some fans may feel like kissing Cousins...I am into chicks, but I would sure shake his hand!  As another famous Kirk (Capt.) said, "Sometimes a feeling is all we humans have to go on."  ...and boy, do we in Redskins Nation have a feeling!  A great feeling...an NFC East leading feeling...feeling that this team is comprised of hard working winners...and that we can win even with the prodigy on the sideline nicked up!

After a rocky start, the Redskins offense, led by Kirk Cousins, shined...displaying a variety of conventional offensive plays, stayed aggressive, and ran the ball enough to stretch drives.  I noticed, on almost every play, receivers open all over the place, and Cousins found a bunch of them.  Cousins showed poise, accuracy, and some foot speed as he showcased his skills for the world to see.

Just like the last couple weeks, the defense continued to shine.  Rob Jackson came up big again this week...we established a decent pass rush....got to see the "taser dance"...created turnovers...and held it's own against some dangerous Browns WRs and perhaps the 2nd best rookie RB of the class (1st place goes to Morris, in my eyes).

Two games left...Eagles and Cowboys...win them, win the East, regardless of what the Giants do!  This team put themselves in this position with just a sprinkle of hope to start with...imagine what these guys will do with all this momentum and a good shot at the Playoffs.

We had pressure....we made some diamonds...now it is time to let them bling and shine straight through the post-season.

Hail to the Redskins!
