Few Changes at Training Camp

Whether you attended Redskins Training Camp in Richmond, VA, before, here are a few changes from last year.

Parking is going up!  Prices are going from $7 a day to $10 a day.  I do not consider this to be a very big deal, but a few bucks adds up if you plan on attending multiple days.  You can avoid paying for parking at all if you are coming from out of town and choose a room where shuttle services are offered (and if you really want a 1st class experience, stay at the Jefferson Hotel).  You can find free parking, if you are early and don't mind walking a few blocks.

No Public Shuttle Service!  Last year, they had a few remote parking/ride shuttle options.  They were not very popular so they got cut this year.  There is plenty of parking around camp, anyway...just get there early.

Less Vendors Outside Camp!  There was 6 vendors outside camp last year and none of them looked to be making money, so it made sense to cut those numbers back.  Still, expect some top notch vendors.  #RVA doesn't play when it comes to food.

I should have a post up this week with some suggestions on where to stay, eat, and get drinks in town!

Hail to the Redskins!
