#Redskins vs #Giants - Game Preview

Monday night is setting up as the most important game for the Redskins in recent years.  Coming off an impressive showing against the Cowboys, the Redskins home to keep this winning streak and momentum going as they face a focused and dangerous Giants team, coming off a big and decisive win over the Packers.  At a record of 7-4, though, the Giants are not the same team we have seen in previous years (in a bad way)...and, for that matter, neither are the Redskins (in a good way).  I would like to remind fans that last years team swept the Giants...and, that (i feel) was a better Giants team.

This years Giants are a balanced team, despite many injuries at RB, they have managed to stay around the top 10 in the league in passing, rushing, defense, and points...but the real shocking stat is the turnovers....

The Giants have a +13 turnover ratio...impressive for a team who's starting QB has thrown 11 ints.

So what do the Redskins need to do to win?

Not to go all "Captain Obvious", but we HAVE TO stand our ground in the turnover battle.  That means playing smart football on both sides of the ball.  I think beating these guys is as simple as that...ah, but wait, what is OUR version of "smart football"?

Run the ball...manage the clock....build momentum....sprinkle in the options to keep the D honest....limit, but take shots down field....take what the defense gives you....attack and defend the screen pass....and last, but certainly not least...
GET PRESSURE ON ELI MANNING!
Eli will make mistakes, besides, we need an established pass-rush moving forward...to win this game and future games.  We did a fair job against a battered O-line in Dallas...now we need to take it to the next level, while still not giving up the big play.

We ALL BUT beat these guys earlier in the year....I know our team has a bad taste for these Giants.  Maybe I am just a crazy Redskins fan, but I think we are the better team.

Got to give them 4 quarters of hell!

Hail to the Redskins!
