The Redskins are coming off winning two consecutive MUST WIN games against division foes, aiming for a third against the Giants December 3rd in a Monday Night Football match-up for the ages. The Giants have built some momentum, defeating the Packers after their bye week. Before the bye, though, the Giants are torched by the Bengals. The Redskins are most likely aiming for a NFC Wild Card spot, which after this weekend became statistically easier to reach with the losses by Seattle, Tampa Bay, and Minnesota. Some would say the Redskins have to do more than just win, but I disagree...granted, they do require some of the above mentioned teams to loose, at this point, they have to focus on what they can control...winning one game at a time....and fans should do the same. Compared to many teams, though having many starters on IR, are a healthy and talented football team, who's only weakness (the Safety position) starting to come together. The Redskins all but put away the Giants in this season earlier meeting, being defeated by a costly fumble and one deep pass to Cruz. The Redskins are playing their best football when it counts...a thrashing of the Giants would propel them into a real chase for the playoffs.
