I posted on Twitter earlier, though some may complain or cry about pre-season football, fact is, the players we see tonight will be playing their hearts out all for just a shot at glory...that is what I tune in to watch ANY NFL game for.
Having Pat White and the his ability to manage/run a similar style of offense to Robert Griffin III will prove invaluable experience for every player on our offense, and defense, for that matter. This game will serve an important role in our preparation for the Eagles.
In Pre-Season fashion, let's keep it simple.
What to watch for:
Pat White will be the QB for the game, barring injury. Can/Does he unseat Rex?
What kind of offensive play calls do we see?
Who secures the 3rd and 4th RB spot?
Who earns the 5th (and maybe 6th) WR spot?
Can Brandon Merriweather still contribute and is he healthy?
Who wins the 4th (and maybe 5th) safety spot?
Who wins the job returning punts and kicks?
This should be a great game to watch, despite it being pre-season!
Hail to the Redskins!
