The End of the "Redskins Rule"

Since the 1930's, the Redskins closest home game to the Presidential Election seemed to correlate with which candidate won....if the Redskins won, the incumbent won...if the Redskins lost, the incumbent lost....until this year.  As we all know, the Redskins lost Sunday to the Panthers in a shocking defeat...a game most feel they could have, and should have, won...and President Obama won by a good margin, even though it was expected to be much closer of a race.  Well, if you are going to believe in coincidental similarities between to grossly unrated events, then what does not holding true to that rule mean?  Some would say it is a sign...a sign of change...an end of a curse...the beginning of a new era for the Redskins.

Though no loss is excusable, breaking that cycle may yield good Ju Ju after all.

Hail to the Redskins!
