Thanksgiving is upon us...and fellow fans, we have much to be thankful for...a great rookie QB, a great rookie RB, and improving defense...oh, and another "MUST WIN" games against a division foe, as the Redskins face off against the Cowboys. Redskins are coming off a scorching win against the hobbled Eagles Sunday. Despite having the short week to prepare for the game, the Redskins carry a good amount of momentum into a game against a struggling Cowboys team that is coming off a pretty shaky performance.
So, what do we need to see from our Redskins in order to stomp these Cowboys?
Play With Heart! Last week, all fans witnessed a team playing with incredible heart...the defense was flying, hitting, and taking care of business while the offense shined. If they show up and play with the same heart we saw last week, good things will happen.
Play Smart! Run the ball....make smart decisions passing....do not give up the big play....I think most of us feel that the Redskins are the better team, playing with the hotter hand....add that to playing smart and watch out!
Get Sacks! Tony Romo has fared well on Thanksgiving, with a record of 5-0. This stat is a fluke and needs to be snapped. The Cowboys running game is pretty poor, so expect them to lean on the passing game. Romo was sacked 7 times last week. We all know Romo is a streaky QB, at best, and now, we need to pressure him, hit him, and sack him...let's get this guy making the mistakes we know he is capable of.
Run the Ball! I know this was mentioned above, but it garners mentioning again....the Cowboys are thin at LB. Plus, the longer that we grind on that defense, the softer it will be against the pass.
Take Shots! We have has some recent success with the deep pass, and though we should not focus our entire offense around such a play, we should take some shots and test that Cowboys secondary.
Make Plays! I know, "Duh" right? But seriously, our Redskins will need to maker tackles, make catches, and make plays. So often, our players are in position to make great plays and don't....now, last week showed great execution. We will need that same play-making to show up against the Cowboys.
I do NOT see where this Cowboy team is much better than the Eagles team we just destroyed.

How are those RBs working out for ya? Murry (hurt/bust), Jones (hurt/bust) and the rest are trash.
Jerry Jones is such a douche...so glad he insists on handling personnel himself, makes for a team of douches.
What do Cowboys players, dressed in suites, used to hearing? "Will the defendant please rise."
I noticed ducks fly upside over Cowboys Stadium...turns out, there is nothing even worth crapping on in there.
