The Pulse #2 - 10/26/2012

Injury update:  London Fletcher practiced Friday, after missing a few days with balance issue.  Shanny mentioned he was sure he was much better.  Great thing to hear for Redskins fans...though, he is still questionable.  He will be a game-time decision.  Cedric Griffin returned to practice and is expected to play.  That will help support a struggling secondary.  I will post updates.  For more comprehensive injury coverage check out Rich Tandler's Blog, www.realredskins.com .

Storm-A-Brewing:  A "Frankenstorm" is brewing along the eastern seaboard.  Hurricane Sandy is growing and moving north-north east and is expect to make landfall between Virginia and Connecticut.  Problem is, despite where the center of this storm takes landfall, it is almost 300 miles across...combine that with an incoming cold-front, causing a Hurricane inside a Nor-Easter, and we are looking at rain and winds throughout most of central and northern eastern seaboard starting Sunday.  There are many variables yet to be determined, but regardless it looks to be quite a devastating storm.  Landfall is expected early Tuesday, but weather around the east is already changing.  Be prepared...but rest assured, we should all be able to watch our Redskins play without any storm-related issues.

Steeler's Uniforms this Sunday:  On Sunday the Steelers are planning on wearing do-do brown and with baby-vomit yellow stripping, much like a dirty prison inmate..hope they play as bad as they look!
