Here we are, fellow Redskins fans, once again facing an up-hill battle just a few games into the regular season. Injuries, depth issues, offensive lines woes, defensive secondary woes...many of the same issues that have added to our struggles in the past.
Dealing with those struggles, with our chin up, is what makes us #NoFairWeather fans.
How To Deal:
Get Excited, But Be Realistic...this is a first time head coach with a new, fairly young staff. As fans, we need to be supportive of our players and coaches and give them time to figure things out.
Don't Bash...just because your team is losing, or a player has a bad game, you have to trust the coaching...trust the players who win starting jobs and support them. Stay positive. Confidence is important for many of these guys to push to the next level...as fans, it is a way we can help our players perform.
Represent...in good times and bad. Don't shy away from wearing your gear in tough times...I know our opposing fans are harsh, but the lows make the highs that much higher.
